In November 2017 I joined the amazing trip to Everest Base Camp under the direction of Trek on Himalayas.
The spectacular, majestic country and amazing people enter humble admiration. Nina and Bikram take great care of their travelers and have very good knowledge of the areas it leads us through. In meeting with other tourists we also saw how well prepared Bikram is in medical care and good introduction to the remedies he has in the first aid kit.
And with Nina and Bikram as guides, you are guaranteed an ethically correct treatment of all local people and places we were in contact with. We also enjoyed the many contacts with Bikram, and the good renome to Nina.
There is a lot of goodwill around them.
Thanks for a wonderful trip, where impressions are still growing.

For us, my brother and I, it was a health problems that triggered the dream of the Himalayas. We set ourselves a goal, one year ahead of time, and began to work out for walks in home.
We investigated several tour operators, but quickly found out that Trek on Himalayas was right for us. Nina and Bikram and the rest of the crew put up a trip that suited us, that is, a trip for most people. Nina takes care of all "special Norwegian" needs, and Bikram ensures all coordination in Nepal. We took care of challenges, we have seen magnificent scenery and we have met a fantastic people in a safe environment. Getting into a small group was liberating, not so many to take into account and we became well known.
As we first had to travel on such a long journey, we wanted to see more of Nepal. The election fell on the tropical lowlands and Chitwan National Park, which lies on the border with India. The area is so totally different from mountainous Nepal. Here we experienced wildlife from the canoe and the elephant back, in addition we lived a little luxurious in the garden of the oath.
Days in chaotic Kathmandu gave us the feeling of how daily life manifests itself in contrast to Pokhara, which is more characterized by tourism. We also visited the Bikram family where we had served a lovely meal.
For me, this trip has contained "everything", more than I expected and the price has been affordable. All inclusive :)
Thank you very much to the whole crewet, Nina, Bikram, Arjus and Furee. We are already planning a new trip and this time a bit higher :)

Dear Nina & Partners.
Thank you for a wonderful enriching trip in Nepal Easter 2017 :)
Recommend everyone to travel with this company if you are going to Nepal, for example because: very good information, a lot of knowledge and expertise, favorable to price, small groups, deliverable in terms of how the trip is laid up - reflects you as an individual in need, wishes & form, safe, flexible, good atmosphere & lots of laughter, seriously, good nights stay, guiding, great balance of nature and culture, etc. Collaborates and supports local people with to support a school, pay the nepaleser directly and well in many other companies, and that Nina knows more of the Nepalese personally privately and it was useful noticeably. In all, I am impressed and touched by the care of me as a customer, the people, the nature, the culture. The trip and my experience touched my heart, the wonderful memories will be there forever.

I have for a long time, had a dream of getting to Everest Base Camp, but without travelling company, with little travel experience and not too good economy it was with the thought. Trek on the Himalayas presented a scheme that appealed to me, and this autumn, the dream was realized.
I was well taken care of all the way from Norway, and it was very nice company in a small group.
Kathmandu was different, exotic and hectic. The trip to Base Camp and Kala Pattar was another new world. A wonderful journey through living communities, in the face of friendly people, up in an increasingly powerful nature, made me humble and grateful. The dramatic stories of the mountain come close and enhance the feelings. It was good to see that the porters we had not got too heavy brushes were well treated and paid properly for the job.
The trip was rounded by sightseeing in fascinating Kathmandu. The most exciting were not the usual tourist attractions but the tours through smaller streets where I got an insight into real Kathmandu. Our knowledgeable Nepalese guide was with all the way.
The trip for the trip was good and reasonably organized and I have received a lot of money for the trip. I'm left with an infinite number of impressions and hope that there will be more trips to this beautiful country - often with Trek on Himalayas.

We decided to travel with Trek On Himalayas on a trekking trip in 2016 to Nepal. This was a country we did not know much about, other than Mount Everest and the major natural disaster that hit the country in 2015.
Kathmandu took our breath away. All the people, all the traffic and pollution. Still, it was completely magical. Hindu temple, Swayambuntah and the tourist area of Thamel, the bustling folk life. We went on to Pokhara to experience the Annapurna area. We walked in a nature so beautiful, met people in their daily work, cozy and gentle. We stayed in the lodge, ate local food and had delicious days. It was a walk that was good for body and soul and with an incredibly skilled guide and tour leader who made sure everything was laid out well. We experienced seeing the simple, natural life of the people in the mountains, who lived by what nature gave. They took good care of us as their guests. The walk in Annapurna reminded us of what is important in life and we got an impression that will always be with us.
